CLOTHING CARE

WASHING

  • Wash knitwear separately from other clothes to prevent fibers from transferring to other garments.
  • Turn the item inside out before washing.
  • Avoid detergents containing bleach, bio-additives, color granules, alkalis, and their compounds. It is better to use special detergents for knitwear. Modern phosphate-free powders and conditioners for wool and silk gently treat the fibers, coating them with a thin protective layer. This helps garments wrinkle less and iron better.
  • It’s best to hand wash any knitwear, gently squeezing. Never rub the knit fabric.
  • To prevent knitwear from losing elasticity, the water for soaking and washing should be at the same temperature (not higher than 30°), and soaking time should be short (up to 30 minutes). Do not soak knitwear with multi-colored yarn.
  • For machine washing, choose a delicate cycle (not above 30°).
  • Do not twist knitwear; gently press out excess water by hand. To remove remaining moisture, wrap the item in a towel.

STORAGE

Store knitwear folded. Avoid hanging items too tightly on hangers, as this may stretch and deform them. If you're preparing knitwear for seasonal storage, remember to use moth repellent.

IRONING

Iron the item only inside out with a warm iron, without stretching. The best option is to use an iron with a steam generator, ensuring the platform never touches the knitwear.
